"As a family holiday home I bought a couple of acres and a rather dated bungalow that needed refurbishment.  We were recommended M J Building & Plumbing and Martyn came round to see us.

It quickly became apparent from the very first meeting that in addition to his extensive building/property maintenance experience he had a great eye for design and he knew what would tick the boxes for me before I even did!

Martyn and his team did a fantastic job with an open plan kitchen/dining room area which has transformed the house and his vision and craftsmanship has continued throughout the house modernising all the rooms and new plumbing and electrics.   The M J team has given me a new house and the most recent work has been outside with the addition of a lovely large decking area.

Living over 200 miles away in London/Surrey and trying to oversee a property ‘long distance’ could have easily blown stress levels sky high but Martyn with his team have managed a lot of the work without us needing to be there and with regular updates and communication things have worked very well.

Martyn and his team work hard without compromising quality and I have always found his rates competitive.  In between thinking of new projects I rest assured that Martyn is looking after all general maintenance at the property when we are not there.
